GET on your bike today for the Meet U in Molong Motorcycle Safety Awareness Ride and Expo.
The inaugural event encourages riders to get out and see parts of the Cabonne Shire they would not usually see.
One of the event’s co-ordinators Stacy Whiley said it would be a family event with activities for riders and non-riders alike.
“Bring your family, friends, there will be music, buskers and lots of food,” she said.
Riders are asked to meet at Bank Street in Molong at 10am to register and receive your entry card.
From there riders can choose to journey to Manildra, Cumnock, Cudal, Cargo, Canowindra and Yeoval with opportunities to receive entries into a major raffle on each ride.
Mrs Whiley said all entries went into the draw to win a prizes that included a $400 gift voucher at motorcycle shop Z Power, a motorcycle safety course, a $200 fuel voucher or a balloon flight.
For the non-riders there will be food and market stalls, musicians, bike displays and a show and shine competition at 3.30pm.
The major prize will be drawn at 4pm on the Village Green.
A free barbecue breakfast will be held for riders tomorrow at the Molong Museum in Riddell Street.
