So it should come as little surprise the three-time premiership tagger is expecting nothing less than a win against the third-placed Bushrangers Rebels on Saturday.
A late switch in venue to Country Club Oval will help him and the Tigers, currently sixth, in that endeavour.
“Yeah the change of venue works very much to our advantage mate,” Rothine said.
Along with a couple of ins this week for us ... I'm expecting the W (win) from our boys this weekend

“That, along with a couple of ins this week for us ... I'm expecting the W (win) from our boys this weekend.”
The Rebels are coming off a somewhat surprising 13-point loss to the Dubbo Demons last weekend.
At the same time, the Orange outfit was on the end of a potentially season ending loss to the ladder leading Cowra Blues.
It was the Tigers’ seventh loss in 10 rounds, and places them three wins outside of the top four.
There’s still eight rounds of the regular season remaining, but the Tigers are in dangerous territory.
“Should be a massive test for us though,” Rothnie added.
“Simon Ewin, Rhys Goudie, Liam Dwyer, all have played a part in the 13,14,15 premierships so it'll be handy to have that experience and fitness back.”
First bounce is at 2.30pm on Saturday.
