Jake Roy Zeppenfeld, 23, was fined $1400 and disqualified for six months in Orange Local Court on June 6 after he registered a blood alcohol reading of 0.143.

Police pulled him over just after 2am on February 6 on the corner of Byng and Anson streets.

The 21-year-old was a rear passenger in the vehicle and became aggressive when police charged Jake.

According to police facts, Sam called police “you f***ing dog c**ts” and “yous are gonna get him in trouble” and walked around the front of the car with clenched fists despite being asked to return to the vehicle or leave.

Fearing a confrontation, police arrested him.

On Monday, Sam's solicitor, Gerard Stapleton said Jake had removed Sam from a fight earlier in the night and his client was clearly affected by alcohol.

Magistrate Terry Lucas reminded Sam offensive behaviour and language carried a maximum three-month jail term.

“Police don't go to work to be slagged like they were that night,” he said.

Mr Lucas fined him $800.
