Commonwealth Bank is combining its retail branch and business centre, with renovations in the retail branch due to be finished by August 1 and in the business centre by the end of the same month.
Commonwealth Bank area manager Sean Barry said the plan was to provide “an improved and interactive environment for residents and businesses”.
“Customers will continue to have access to our full range of services, plus greater access to cutting edge technology,” he said.
“For the first time in Orange, the business centre will be co-located with the retail branch, allowing extra convenience and assistance for all customers,”
“Staffing levels will remain unchanged.”
The new features of the branch will include cash and cheque deposit ATMs, a coin-counting machine, iPad netbank kiosk and in-branch customer wi-fi.
Mr Barry said the co-location was a “great outcome” for Orange residents.
“With all services in the one location, this will allow extra convenience and assistance for all customers and a more efficient design for our teams working together in the Orange community,” he said.
There are 17 staff members employed at the Orange branch.
The branch will trade as normal throughout the renovation process.
