WIND FARM OR JUST WIND?
I WANT to know how it is possible to separate the noise from the wind from the noise from a wind farm? I had lived for far too long on the ranges where the wind blows like a mongrel when the weather is foul and this howling wind would be good for wind farms and probably not much else. I've stood at the fence line of the wind farm at Hampton with turbines within fifty meters and I struggle to hear the noise of the blades over the howl of the wind. If you believe wind turbines are noisy or make you sick you should seek medical help to address these issues as I am sure that the turbines are not your problem.

NBN answers needed
STILL "pair gain" does not get brought up! And NBN Co and Orange City Council continually avoid to give a response on it. For the number of residents in Orange who still cannot recieve an ADSL connection: don't be disillusioned by the hype. As when the NBN Co are done in Orange you will still not be able to recieve an ADSL connection on your phoneline due to your premises having a pair gain and you definitely will not recieve the NBN. Unfortunately for these people you will have to continue to suffer with no connection at all or Telstra’s overpriced 4G network! Late 2018 NBN co will offer a satellite service. I imagine NBN will not offer wireless NBN due to how easy that service becomes saturated.

Rest centre farewell
HOW about society actually has a sensible and reasoned discussion on the core problem underlying this closure and that is substance use/abuse? Easier just to vilify and create yet another folk-devil to blame for the ills of our community. Maybe some day, far far in the future, greater minds than ours will make the hard choices that we ourselves won't attempt.
