They specialise in empowering people with a disability, illness or health condition to improve their circumstances through a range of training, support and employment opportunities. If you’re looking for work or looking for staff to fulfill a role within your business, you can give them a call today to see how they can work with you, to find a great job match. Jump online, join the conversation and see what jobseekers and employers are saying about the work they do.
There are four simple steps to hiring a person with a disability through Job Centre Australia.
Job analysis: A trainer will visit your work site and perform the job to gain a thorough understanding of the skills and abilities required.
Job matching: With their understanding of your workplace, Job Centre Australia can then identify suitable jobseekers. They can then provide you with their details for you to consider.
Hiring decision: Once you’ve met the jobseeker you can choose to trial them in the position. The decision to hire is yours.
Training: The trainer remains at your workplace training your new employee, liaising with you throughout. After the initial training the trainer will provide ongoing support as and when needed.
