IN my opinion, it’s fair to state that trust between many countries is often in short supply, and that lack of trust is also evident within many communities.

Unfortunately, there seem to be no quick and easy answers to overcome this concern. Another concern that is also challenging, and often expressed, is the lack of good role models needed for young people.
Apart from their parents, children need other good role models, and unfortunately in today’s media-influenced world, these are usually in short supply. For example in sporting and political areas, there are not a large number of people who I would consider to be good role models for our nine grandchildren.
Am I being too critical? I think not.
P.S. I’m always amazed at the speed at which some drivers approach the many roundabouts in Orange. If they were going any faster, they’d take off and fly!
