The event raised $1900 to improve the quality of life for people with mental health problems in Bloomfield Hospital and those with profound disabilities at Riverside Centre.
Paul Carpenter wowed the audience with his rich bass voice singing three songs including Summertime from the opera Porgy and Bess.
Sisters Bella and Elizabeth Fox played alto saxophone and flute in three duets and they also played solos, by composers including Beethoven, Mendelssohn and Mozart.
Mezzo soprano Margaret Balsom sang three songs including the aria Che Faro Senza Euridice from the opera Orfeo. She also sang two duets with Jean Whiley.
Mr Carpenter and Ms Balsom ended the fundraising event with Plaisir D’Amour or The Joys of Love, which is about the sadness love can bring.
Accompanist Deb Nicholls supported all the artists and Sister Mary Trainor led a singalong of Australian songs.
The Bloomfield Hospital Riverside Centre Auxiliary that ran the event is in need of more members if it is to continue.
