A VARIETY of Central West musicians will raise their voices on Sunday at a Summer Soiree to raise money to help people with a mental illness and/or profound disabilities.

Attendees will be able to sip wines, enjoy canapes and afternoon tea while listening to music in a variety of styles at the Summer Soiree held at the Philip Shaw cellar door at Shiralee Road.
Money raised at the event will help improve the quality of life of people at Bloomfield Hospital and Riverside Centre.
The concert will feature sisters Bella and Elizabeth Fox who will play songs by Mozart, Mendelssohn and Beethoven on saxophone and flute.
Other performers will be bass singer Paul Carpenter, who sings with The Tenpenny Bit Bush Band, mezzo soprano Margaret Balsom will sing solo and in duets with Jean Whiley and Mr Carpenter accompanied on piano by Deb Nicholls.
“This is its fourth year, these have each raised about $1000 each time,” Ms Balsom said.
“They are small intimate venues and they’ve all been in vineyards
The Bloomfield Hospital and Riverside Centre fundraiser will start at 4pm with afternoon tea provided by Forest Reefs Uniting Church members.
Tickets are available from Collins Booksellers for $20 or at the door.
