Twenty three students took part in the carnival that was held in the 50 metre outdoor pool at the Orange Aquatic Centre.
An additional 14 student leaders and house captains also attended the carnival to support the competitors.
Because the races were at least 50 metres each, competitors had to be strong swimmers and show interest in racing in order to take part.
The races included all four strokes, freestyle, backstroke, butterfly and breaststroke as well as a junior and senior relays.
