One instance is the Hub rubbish tip that was thrown out in the Land and Environment Court but was overruled by the then planning minister Tony Kelly.
It is now found that carting rubbish 40 kilometres is a costly exercise when there were many other sites closer to Orange.
The ratepayers in Cabonne don’t trust Orange City Council and don’t want to be forced into paying for their expensive mistakes.
It has been shown that they are unable to build a decent road (i.e. the Northern Distributor), so how will they maintain 2000 kilometres in Cabonne?
