Orange names strength for Dubbo

ORANGE has named its strongest side of the Western Premier League cricket season ahead of its toughest game of the summer so far.

Orange takes on Western Zone powerhouse Dubbo at Wade Park on Sunday.

It’s the second representative match of the 2012-13 season for Orange, with the best the Orange District Cricket Association can muster desperate to atone for a nine-wicket loss at the hands of Mudgee in the campaign opener eight days ago.

CYMS bat Trent Colley will again captain the squad, which has had experienced batsman Matt Findlay added to it after the big hitting right-hander recovered from a hand injury.

Wicket-keeper batsman Lincoln Duncan also returns as does young quick Liam Gough.

Englishman Stuart Naden has also been added to the 14-man squad.

Selectors will make a final decision of the make-up of the Orange XI the day before the match.

ORANGE: Trent Colley (c), Dave Boundy, Luke Clarke, James Conn, Lincoln Duncan, Matt Findlay, Hamish Finlayson, Liam Gough, Charles Litchfield, Stuart Naden, Chris Novak, Josh Sands, John Warrington, Nick Wright.
