GULLIVER the giant guide dog needs your help.
Guide Dogs NSW/ACT are seeking 10,000 signatures to show the federal government they should be included in the federal government's National Insurance Disability Scheme (NDIS).
Regional manager Ben Schwarz said they currently provide free services for people with vision loss or impairment, and he fears if they are not included in the NDIS this could soon stop.
"By the year 2020 we will have 100,000 people over 40 [years] with a vision impairment," Mr Schwarz said.
Head down to Post Office Lane to see Gulliver the giant 4.2 metre guide dog and add your name to the petition until 3.30pm today.
