Orange station officer Matt Jeffery said the training sessions occurred approximately every three months.
“Theses training sessions are important,” Mr Jeffery said.
“People’s lives, including ours and the victims, depend on us getting things right.”
On Monday, crews practised the kind of rescue techniques needed to retrieve a patient injured in places such as garage roofs or the second level of a house.
According to Mr Jeffery, the next training session will focus on confined-space rescues for patients injured in places such as silos, pits or drains.
“Some of these skills are used infrequently so that’s why they’re in constant need of revision,” he said.
“The training sessions allow you to practice a combination of different techniques.”
