All animals and their families are invited to show their support by getting their photo taken with Santa.
Animals are more than welcome to sit on Santa's lap and children are encouraged to join in the photo.
Blossoms are offering the first 5x7 print for $10, and any other copies for $5.
Blossoms owner Bec Ferguson is hoping the community will get involved.
"Any pets are welcome. We have one family bringing along their lizard," she said.
“We hope to raise awareness about our organisation.”
Co-owner Laura Ferguson encourages families thinking of buying cats or kittens as Christmas gifts to consider long-term costs and care.
“Pets are a lifelong committment,” she said.
“Providing socialisation, food, bedding and toys is important.”
Blossoms Rescue is a local registered charity that takes in and cares for stray, injured, unwanted and neglected cats and kittens.
Blossoms has rescued more than 350 cats since it was established three years ago.
Santa Paws will take place at Blossoms Rescue, 192 March Street, from 10am to 4pm on December 5 and 6.
