The roadshow will provide free seminars to business operators including accountants, solicitors and conveyancers who may want updates on NSW business and property taxes, first home buyer benefits and unclaimed money.
The seminars will also look in detail at topics including incentive schemes such as the new home grant, the jobs action plan and the recently-introduced small business grant.
Small business will be a special focus of the sessions and, with almost 680,000 small businesses in NSW, those that are looking to expand will be able to draw on expert advice.
The roadshow will be in Orange on December 11 at Ibis Styles, 146 Bathurst Road, from 8am to 9.30am.
For further information about the information sessions visit the website www.osr.nsw.gov.au/info/news/osr-state-roadshow.
SMALL businesses can take advantage of free business assistance with the arrival of the Small Biz Bus.
The bus will visit Lithgow and Blayney next month, giving small business operators the chance to receive personal advice from business experts.
NSW small business commissioner Robyn Hobbs says speaking to an advisor can help you take the next step, whether you’re just starting out, wanting to ensure your business is sustainable or hoping to grow.
The bus will be in Cook Street, Lithgow from 9am to 3pm on Monday, December 7, and on Tuesday, December 8, it will be in Adelaide Street, Blayney, from 9am to 1pm.
Central NSW Business Enterprise Centre (BEC) executive officer Bruce Buchanan said the bus was a great opportunity for existing business owners, as well as potential new business operators, to see the range of services the BEC has on offer.
