POOL cleaners, acids, pesticides and rat poison are among items that can be disposed of as part of a free household chemicals clean-out in Cabonne Shire next month.
Residents will be able to dump a variety of products when the clean-out is at the Cumnock waste depot from 2-5pm on Wednesday, October 17.
“This clean-up gives you the opportunity to get rid of household waste and helps the council dispose of it properly,” council’s Lex Stewart said.
The clean-out is a joint initiative between NetWaste, participating councils and the NSW Environment Protection Authority.
