Patrick Hernandes is probably still dining out on Born To Be Alive, My Sharona was catchy enough for The Knack to never have to produce another hit - ever - and Psy's Gangnam Style caught the world's attention and had the Korean pop icon op, op, op oppa-ing all the way to the bank.
CYMS, though, are determined not to join the club.
After a break-through Orange District Cricket Association first grade premiership - the club's first since 1983-84 - last summer, CYMS quick Chris Novak says his group is as determined as ever to continue to ride the club's current wave of success.
"There's no point in playing if we're not out there to win," Novak said.
"Of course, we're always confident of being able to do well.
"As a group we're determined for last year's success to continue. We don't want to be a one hit wonder."
Aiding his side's bid to record back-to-back premierships, junior Mick Delaney is returning to the green and gold after helping Canberra club Western Creek Molonglo to last year's first grade premiership in the nation's capital.
Delaney was that side's captain-coach.
"That sort of experience back at CYMS is going to prove invaluable," Novak said.
"He'll obviously be pretty invaluable to us as an opening bowler and top order bat. He's been to training and he's keen."
It's not all roses though.
CYMS have lost incumbent Western Zone quick Curtis Free, he's returned to England after a blazing summer with the green and golds in 2014-15.
All-rounder Sam Dwyer, too, is expected to be missing come round one.
However, Novak was confident the club would continue to be a force.
"I think Sam Dwyer will be a bit sporadic this year, and the young guys that made up the majority of last year's second grade side will get the opportunity to play first grade with Moroneys this year, which will be awesome for them," he said.
CYMS take on Moroneys in round one on Saturday, October 10.
ORANGE CYMS, 2015-16:
Significant gain: Michael Delaney
Last season: Premiers
2015-16 prediction: Premiers
Cricki's view: It's been a long time since Michael Delaney has played cricket in Orange. So long, in fact, CrickiLeaks understands Pup's been asking when CYMS first clash with BOIDC foes Rugby and Redbacks are. Let's hope he's not as out of touch with the bat.
