Relieving principal Rebecca Hall said each of the works in the mixed media display showcased the ability of the school’s students.
Ms Hall said the students had been working with teacher’s aide Cathy Huggett who has been visiting each class on an individual basis in order to create the varied works.
The works also represent things the students have been studying in class.
Ms Hall said the annual exhibition was a chance to focus on the children’s abilities instead of issues associated with their disabilities.
“We’re just blown away by the talents of the students and this is one of the times when we can showcase their skills,” Ms Hall said.
The exhibition will be on display in the school’s hall from Wednesday through to Friday from 9.30am to 2.30pm.
She said coming to view Art on Anson would give visitors the chance to see the educational options offered at the school.
The art exhibition will be opened by Orange mayor John Davis and member for Orange Andrew Gee today before public viewing for the next three days.
