EDWINA Bone insists the 'Roovolution' won't be complete unless the Hockeyroos win gold at next year's Olympics, adamant the team isn't scarred by recent losses to the Dutch.

The Hockeyroos earned qualification for next year's Rio Games with bronze at this month's Hockey World League in Belgium, but Bone admits a 5-1 semi-final defeat to the Netherlands could be a timely wake-up call.
Australia pressed the Netherlands hard in their 2-0 World Cup final loss in June, and Bone believes they may be paying them too much respect and not bringing their physical style.
"We thought we'd be a lot closer to them in World League, to not do as well as we expected was a wake-up call and reality check," she said.
"It's better we have that loss now than at the Olympics. It [gold medal] is definitely our goal, if you're going to the Olympics and don't want to win gold, what's the point of going?
"We know we still have to overcome the Dutch and for as long as I've been in the team we haven't beaten them, which is three years. People hate playing us because we're so physical and against them we take our foot off the pedal."
After helping Australia to Commonwealth Games gold last year, Bone is looking to make the cut for her first Olympics and has become a Hockeyroos mainstay.
"I've worked the past three years for this Olympic dream to come true and I'd be disappointed if I let the foot off the pedal now. I'll do everything to make sure I'm still in that top group."
