A 31-YEAR-old man was airlifted to Sydney with non life-threatening injuries after the car he was driving crashed into two parked cars in Anson Street on Monday morning.

The street was closed to southbound traffic throughout the morning while firefighters, police and paramedics spent about 40 minutes removing the driver from his Holden Barina after he became trapped in the car.
He was the only person involved in the crash.
Nearby residents reported a loud bang at 10.50am and rushed out to find the man’s car on the footpath.
A Ford ute and a Toyota Camry that had been parked on Anson Street were also badly damaged in the crash.
