The Boars led competition front-runners Bathurst Bulldogs at half-time before defeating Orange Emus and CSU.
They were not disgraced in their effort against Dubbo before bouncing back with an important win over Forbes last week.
The Twin Towns victory kept Parkes in touch with the leaders as they head towards the halfway point of the competition.
They head into tomorrow’s clash with the high flying Cowra Eagles full of confidence, but knowing they have a big task ahead of them.
Boars captain Dan Ryan believes his side have a good chance.
“We are improving each week and hopefully that will continue tomorrow,” Ryan said.
“If we continue how we left off last week and do the one per cent things right, it will go a long way to getting the points.
“Hopefully we can minimise our errors and take advantage of our chances.
“The battle in the forwards will be a good one.
“While they are strong all over the park, the Eagles are especially strong in the forwards.
“Whoever wins that battle is a good chance.
“Their halves have used the momentum created by their pack to good effect.
“If we can stop their go forward it will stifle their backs.
“It is going to be a big task, but one we are up for,” he said.
First grade kicks off at 3.15pm tomorrow at Northparkes Oval.
