RAID: Police outside a house in Princes Street, Bathurst following an early morning raid yesterday.
HEROIN, amphetamines and more than $100,000 in cash were allegedly found by police following an early morning raid on a house in Bathurst yesterday.
Plain clothes detectives, uniformed police, the police rescue unit and the Sydney-based dog squad all remained at the scene in Princes Street late yesterday.
David Peters, 19, of Princes Street, has been charged with 10 offences as a result of the raid.
The charges include the supply of a prohibited drug and custody of goods suspected of being stolen ($104,515 in cash).
Peters was also charged with obstructing an officer in the execution of duty, the possession of a prohibited drug (heroin), another three counts of possession of property suspected of being stolen (a gold bracelet, cheque book and battery charger) and two counts of possessing a prohibited drug (amphetamines),
Peters appeared in custody before Bathurst Local Court registrar Mark Nicholls yesterday. He was refused bail and is to re-appear before the local court on Monday.
No police facts relating to the charges were submitted to the court.
