It means the Michael "Huck" Hornby Memorial Trophy stays at Blayney for another year after they scored a win over Orange CYMS Old Boys on Sunday.
The two sides went head-to-head at Wade Park as a curtain-raiser to the Group 10 premier league match between the two clubs.
Blayney took the win with four tries to CYMS' one.
It is the second year in a row the teams have played for the trophy, which was named after Michael Hornby who was a former Blayney player and committee member who died from melanoma in 2014.
Blayney won the shield in its inaugural year at Blayney in 2014 and backed it up with another winning performance this season on CYMS' turf.
CYMS Old Boys president Mark Jasprizza said Sunday's display of skills was outstanding.
"It was good fun. It wasn't ultra competitive but neither side wanted to lose," Jasprizza said.
"We get along with all the Blayney blokes, so it's like a reunion out on the field."
Jasprizza described the tackles as "soft" until an attacking team was within 20 metres of the tryline and then the intensity picked up.
The match was played over two 10-minute halves and delivered some memorable moments including former CYMS forward Kiel Vardanega chasing down former Blayney half Steve Mooney.
"We won't let Steve forget he was run down by a forward," Jasprizza laughed.
"Jimmy Grant and Steve Mooney also combined for a nice try.
"Peter Ryan came out of retirement to referee as well."
CYMS Old Boys will take on their Bathurst St Pat's counterparts in the final Group 10 round of the season, which will coincide with the CYMS ball.
