Where do you stand on:
Rates: If we are going to pay some of the highest rates in NSW we must ensure the residents of Orange feel they are getting value for money.
Would you ever vote for a special rate increase above the cap set by the state government?
No. We should stay with the rate cap.
Conservation versus development: Orange is a beautiful city, we need to protect our history for future generations to enjoy. We also need to remain a vibrant, growing city to support the continued growth of Orange.
Macquarie Pipeline: Would you vote to halt the pipeline project? (yes or no)
Orange needs to secure our water supply now, for future generations. Is the pipeline the best option? I honestly don't know and would need to read through the information for and against the project before making my decision. I have received a lot of community feedback concerned about the ongoing costs of the pipeline. What happens in a drought, can we pump then? Greater consultation between all stakeholders needs to happen to address all concerns.
What major capital works do you think Orange needs?
The development of Wade Park, larger grandstand and incorporating a function centre to attract more major events to Orange. Hotmix road program for major roads in the city of Orange, including the Northern Distributor. Increased parking and footpath facilities. Build a museum and Hall of Fame for our many success stories.
What projects or facilities would you forego to fund them if necessary?

Successes of the previous council? (List up to four) Stormwater harvesting project, Northern Distributor Road, Crime and Safety Committee and PCYC development.
Failures of the previous council? (List up to four) First section of the Northern Distributor (road surface), showground future not being decided, no museum built and water supply not secured.
