Orange Anzac Day's Dawn Service this morning saw a record massive turnout of 5,000 in Robertson Park to mark the 100th commemoration of the landing at Gallipoli.

Despite the large crowd it was a clear view to the newly raised Cenotaph and surrounds which have been specially upgraded for this year's ceremony.
A highlight was the lighting of a remembrance flame after Orange was selected as only one of 23 towns and cities to receive the Camp Gallipoli flame as part of a Federal Government program.
Following the service many remained on to admire the newly installed full sized bronze statues of a solder and sailor, while others went to the nearby CWA Hall in the park where the Orange Branch of the CWA hosted breakfast with the assistance of a grant from Orange City Council.
