Industry finals an almighty effort

IT has been a massive 12 months for Almighty Industries, after they were named Orange's most outstanding business for 2011.

They now appear set to win state-wide recognition, after being nominated as a finalist in the 2012 Motor Industry Awards.

Office manager Jenny Raffen said they were thrilled to be recognised in the commercial vehicle business of the year category.

"The awards are industry-specific and selected and judged by people in our industry so it's an honour to be a finalist," she said.

"It's a nod of approval from colleagues throughout the state."

Almighty Industries will face stiff opposition, up against finalists from across the state including Sydney, Wagga Wagga and the Hunter Valley.

"It's going to be tough competition, with a lot of long-standing businesses vying for the award," she said.

"Winning the award would cement our reputation as being western NSW’ number one vehicle body manufacturer."

Team members from Almighty Industries will attend the official award ceremony in Sydney on September 22.
