Held at the Orange Function Centre from 4pm to 7pm, the science circus will have more than 40 interactive science exhibits to try.
People can also watch spectacular science shows with presenters holding fire in their hands, lying on a bed of nails and levitating beach balls.
The science circus is made up of 15 postgraduate students studying a Master of Science Communication Outreach at the Australian National University, who spend three months visiting towns across Australia to engage people with science and technology.
The science circus is also taking place at Orange schools on Tuesday and Wednesday, with students at Calare Public School, Anson Street School, Bowen Public School, Orange Anglican Grammar School and Spring Terrace Public School, as well as schools in Carcoar, Blayney and Bathurst, getting a hands on experience.
Science circus presenter Broderick Matthews hopes many of the students who see the show at school will bring their families along on Wednesday.
“Our exhibition is a fantastic opportunity for the whole community to get hands-on with sciences,” he said.
“It’s a great way to discover new things about our world and explore the science and technology all around us.”
Tickets are available at the door, cash only, and cost $6 for adults, $5 for children and concession, and $18 for a family, while children under five are admitted free.
