The volunteer carer says no matter who takes out the top prize, which will be announced later this month, she has had a fantastic time as a finalist.
Ms Davis was recently named as one of eight finalists in the competition Specsavers described as “a nationwide search to find Australia’s best framed face.”
The finalists are being judged by fashion designer Alex Perry, Specsavers style ambassador Pip Edwards and actress and spectacle-wearer Sarah Michelle Gellar.
If Ms Davis wins first prize she will receive an all-expenses-paid shopping trip for two to Hollywood, including spending money, a new wardrobe of designer glasses from Specsavers and a timepiece from The Melbourne Watch Company.
Ms Davis, who plans to take her daughter Alisha Rudd with her if she wins, entered the competition on line.
“I haven’t been anywhere, apart from Bali, so it would be wonderful to get the opportunity to do this with my daughter,” she said.
“I’d be over the moon if I was named as the winner.”
Ms Davis travelled with her daughter to Sydney, along with the other finalists, to take part in a professional photo shoot, after being given a make-over, including outfits.
“It was awesome, we had so much fun,” she said.
The finalists also received two pairs of designer glasses from Specsavers and a voucher from online boutique Fairley Jewellery.
Specsavers Orange store partner Conrad Porter said he was thrilled someone from Orange had made it to the top eight in the competition.
“Trish is a really strong contender to take the title this year, as she wears her glasses with such style and confidence, which is what this competition is all about,” he said.
“She is a great representative of Orange and we wish Trish the very best of luck.”
