With a concert featuring the voices of Margaret Balsom and Jean Whiley, accompanied by Debbie Nicholls and Sister Mary Trainor, and a string quartet featuring youngsters Lucy, Isabelle, Phoebe and Anthony Clarke-Randazzo, the event aims to raise over $1000 for the auxiliary.
“I think the ambience of a lovely autumn afternoon with the backdrop of the countryside is just lovely,” singer Mrs Balsom said.
“There will be a variety of styles of music, including musical theatre, and I’ll also be singing duets with Jean Whiley. The Clarke-Randazzo girls Lucy, who is 14 years old, and Isabelle, who is 12 years old, will perform individually, and then they will be joined by their siblings Phoebe who is eight and Anthony who is five, in a quartet.”
The Autumn Soiree will be held at Mortimers Wines at March, from 2.30 to 4.30pm. Tickets cost $20 and include the concert and afternoon tea.
Tickets can be pre-purchased by visiting Collins Booksellers in Summer Street or by contacting Sister Mary Trainor on 6362 1662.
