Are we living on the same planet?
Anybody can work out that if you have a few people in a household you accumulate garbage. How do you expect people to dispose of it.
Rates here are among the highest so why then should people get reduced services for their money? What a joke. It makes me wonder how some councillors keep their jobs.
It’s like when someone said they didn’t expect as many trucks to use the bypass. Hello, what is a bypass for? To reroute heavy vehicles from the main street.
Yes, I can see bulk collections ceasing but to stop weekly rubbish collections is the most stupid idea raised.
It’s a bit like the green bins that cannot hold a full load of grass. A truck can’t pick it up with the weight. Anyone would think the driver had to manually empty them.
For once, maybe someone in council could think before they speak, or maybe people can drop their excess rubbish off at the council offices. That would be a great look.
