It is obvious and of great concern the people who carry out these atrocities are supported and live within segregated communities where, although looked down upon, Islamic extremism is to some degree tolerated and continues. 

Funding, support and education of these people is a concern for all Australians. As a concerned Australian I have written to my state and federal members with the following results so far.  

I wrote to my state and federal members of Parliament regarding proper labelling of halal certified products and suggesting identical non-halal products be placed alongside halal certified products and the price reflect the difference in cost, as it was unfair to burden 98 per cent of Australians with a cost familiar with only 2 per cent of the Australian population.

State member Andrew Gee replied to my letter in protocol time, stating he had passed my concerns onto the Minister Katrina Hodgkinson and would inform me of the response.

Federal member John Cobb has not acknowledged or replied to my letter identical in form to the one presented to Andrew Gee.

I wrote to my state and federal members of Parliament regarding The Draft Islamic Constitution of Australia available for view on the CONCIT website (http://concit.org/australia-under-islam-in-25-years-islamic-constitution-of-australia/).    

I asked if this document is recognised as a document of political significance within state and federal politics, and passed the opinion its existence and content was most concerning for Australia. 

State member Andrew Gee replied to my letter within protocol time stating he had passed on the document and my concerns to Premier Mike Baird and would inform me of any response.

Federal member John Cobb has not acknowledged or replied to my letter identical in form to the one presented to Andrew Gee.

If I was not concerned about such events as the Lindt cafe, and the September 15, 2012 Islamic protests in Sydney where the Shahada flag similar to the one used at the Lindt cafe, and by Islamic State, was waved above banners stating harm be inflicted on innocent Australians, and has been, then I would become be part of the problem.

 Australians are not judged on their political beliefs, religion, or race, they are judged on their actions and the content of their character.

These people’s character and actions are the poorest within humanity and warrant attention of the highest degree.
