From 7pm the church choir will sing a variety of modern, Australian and tradition carols on the lawn in front of the church, on the corner of Dora and McLachlan Streets.
Reverend Gary Neville said the choir sang Christmas carols every year, but having it on the lawn meant more people could stop by and enjoy it.
“Last year for the first time we decided to take it out onto the street, onto the grass,” Reverend Neville said.
“People can come and sit on the grass and bring a rug.
“It’s more relaxing than having it in the church.”
Reverend Neville said if it rains the carols will be moved into the church.
