The artists, all residents of Clancy Weston Lodge and Wontama Nursing Home, have been painting the artworks throughout the year during their weekly art class with Bathurst-based artist Dean Mobbs.
The art show Artists in Residence will feature a selection of these works, with all proceeds from the auction going towards buying more art supplies and equipment for other activities for residents.
Mr Mobbs said he enjoyed teaching art at Wontama and seeing many residents reconnect with a pastime from their younger years, then develop and refine their skills and confidence.
The art show will be held in Clancy Weston Lodge, Byng Street, beginning at 4.30pm today, with the auction to take place at 6pm.
Members of the public are warmly invited, and finger food and wine will be provided.
