Already it is on display in the bricks and mortar of the building with the fundraising throughout the central west driven by the hard-working board members based in Orange.
Many organisations and charities are under pressure to maintain their volunteering ranks as many people are in the workforce and unable to give time during the day.
However the fact that Ronald McDonald House needs volunteers 24-hours a day, seven days a week is a wonderful opportunity for people in the community who work full or part time through the day to also become involved.
Perhaps you are a kindergarten school teacher who could give up a few hours on a regular basis helping out with craft sessions.
Or you maybe someone who after leaving work in the afternoon, can go out to the house to help with the dinner program - helping families cook, or cooking for them, or helping clean up at the time of day when they are probably emotionally and physically exhausted from the trauma of having a sick child at the hospital.
You may be a gardener with your own business who could contribute a few hours a month to the effort to maintaining the grounds of the house.
Whatever you think your contribution might be, it will be greatly appreciated by the board members of Ronald McDonald House in Orange.
They have worked ceaselessly for 10 years to get the house, which welcomes its first guest families next month, to this stage and it would be wonderful if the burden of much of the volunteering could be partly lifted from their shoulders.
