The wine, entered by Twisted River Wines at Manildra, beat 823 other entries to win the main award at the Bathurst competition.
The wine also won the central ranges trophy, champion shiraz and champion dry red table wine.
Twisted River also won a bronze medal in the older dry red blend category.
Twisted River co-owner Michelle Davies said she jumped up and down with excitement when she heard they had won the main award.
“I couldn’t believe it when the president rang and told us we won,” she said.
“We have won other gold medals and trophies, but it’s the first time we’ve had a clean sweep for one wine.”
Ms Davies said Twisted River made its first shiraz viognier in 2012, which also won awards.
The blend has since become their signature red wine and Ms Davies says the 2013 vintage is as good, if not better, than the 2012 wine.
“Before that we served straight shiraz, which also won awards,” she said.
Ms Davies runs the winery with Helen Armstrong, with help from winemakers Chris Derrez and Lucy Maddox.
The winery produced its first vintage in 2010.
Other award-winning Orange wineries included Brangayne, Angullong, Philip Shaw, Ross Hill, Charles Sturt University, Patina, Borrodell and Cumulus, who won won bronze and silver awards in the sauvignon blanc, chardonnay, shiraz, pinot gris, cabernet sauvignon, sparking and dry white categories.
