I FIND it strange and deeply disturbing when I continue to read of ongoing attacks on climate scientists because of their predictions and warnings about global warming/climate change.

I also find it interesting to note how public interest and concern relating to global warming fluctuates over time.
My own level of concern continues to rise week by week, as I read up-to-date reports by climate scientists in some newspapers and journals.
I found it easy to agree with a recent article by Michael Brown, from Monash University’s School of Physics (Sydney Morning Herald, September 10). In his final paragraph he states: “These attacks on climate science embrace pseudoscience. They are a desperate attempt to deny a century of science that proves global warming has occurred and will continue. Unfortunately this denial is being embraced by sections of Australia’s media and Parliament.”
That paragraph really says it all.
