Congratulations to Vince Lovecchio and team for their artwork in that poor neglected passageway in Summer Street.
Perhaps now the council will install some decent lighting so the public can admire the talented work of our young mural painters.
It has been known for some time that if graffiti artists are given their own space they will take ownership of it and nurture it, not destroy it.
Those of you who have been in Orange for some time will remember the superb murals painted on the gasworks wall and the railway station. These two pieces of work were completed with the input of community members and for a long time brightened the environment around them.
We need to give more time and opportunity to our young citizens to display their talents. It should not be left to the old and stodgy to decide how our city should present itself.
Glenna Coxhill,
Orange
