AN investigation is underway into the death of a 50-year-old Cudal woman who died while in the shower on Wednesday morning.

Emergency services workers were called to treat to the woman, who lived on a property on Davys Plains Road, at around 10.20am after a family member reported she’d collapsed in the shower.
Initial investigations suggested the woman may have suffered a heart attack however a coronial inquest will be conducted to determine her cause of death.
Canobolas Local Area Command Acting Inspector Brenden Turner confirmed police had spent yesterday examining the property.
“We’re looking into every possibility,” he said.
“We’re examining the house to see if there are any faults, including electrical faults.”
Acting Inspector Turner said there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the woman’s death.
“There’s nothing sinister,” he said.
“At this stage it looks like an accident.”
Acting Inspector Turner said emergency services were notified of the incident after they received a triple-0 call from the house.
