The Hockeyroos star, who won a gold medal at the Commonwealth Games, was a WRAS scholarship holder between 2003-2005.
Around 300 guests gathered in the Coral Sea Room to celebrate the achievement of the WRAS athletes, their coaches and supporters.
Hockey player Andrea Gillard, from Lithgow, was the WRAS overall athlete of the year, while basketballer Emily Matthews, from Bathurst, was runner-up.
