A BRICKLAYER who says he only has about $250 dollars a week left after he pays rent had an expensive week in Orange Local Court after he was ordered to pay more than $7500 in fines and reparations.

Brandon Sullivan was charged with drink-driving and destroying property after incidents on two separate nights.
In May last year the 22-year-old went to a party with some friends in Warrigal Place and as he walked home he decided to walk on top of a car.
He jumped on the bonnet and walked across the roof until his foot went through the rear glass window.
He jumped off the car and he and his two friends continued on their way.
Witnesses to the incident phoned police and followed the trio until they got into a car, at which point police arrived.
Officers said they saw Sullivan sitting in the back of the car with blood all over his T-Shirt and his jeans.
The Sundew Circuit resident then fled the vehicle.
After an investigation police arrested Sullivan at home where he made full admissions to the damage.
In court on Thursday, his solicitor Lee Dalton said he was a bricklayer who earned $500 per week and had to pay $250 per week in rent.
The rest was used to support his partner and child.
She said he had a limited capacity to pay a fine and asked the magistrate, Bruce Williams, to put him on a bond without a fine.
However, the victim had asked for $5528 to cover the damage done to the car and Mr Williams fined him $1000.
He was also placed on a good behaviour bond.
About 10 months after the car damage was done, Sullivan was arrested for low-range drink-driving on March 28 and he was fined, on Monday, another $1000 and disqualified from driving for 12 months.
It was his fourth drink-driving offence.
“You’re one of these people who is heading towards jail ... there are other people who need consideration in your life not just you,” Mr Williams said.
