I assume that they’re all doctors and nurses, who are rushing off to attend to a critically ill patient.
These people are prepared to run the risk of being struck by a vehicle, particularly if one is turning a corner.
Of course, in school holidays, it’s a common sight to see parents with young children in tow crossing against a red light. What wonderful role models they are!
P.S. In my opinion, one of the main reasons for these, and other concerns in our society, is a lack of respect for laws, other people, the environment etc.
Perhaps once again, I’m just showing my age!
