However, I had the good fortune of being treated at Orange hospital.
From the moment I walked, or more accurately staggered, into the accident and emergency unit, I received a standard of care that can only be described as outstanding.
All the staff I had contact with from the triage nurse through to my discharge on the following Wednesday were absolutely brilliant.
I would like to extend my most sincere thanks to Dr David Amos and Dr Ruth Arnold for their prompt attention and professionalism.
To the staff of accident and emergency and coronary care, my gratitude for the care I was given. To Sue Patterson, the director of nursing, you should be rightly proud of your nurses.
I cannot imagine a higher level of care than I received at the Orange hospital.
