The level of experience, I understand, ranged from a transition level to very competent.
I, like a number of grandparents and parents, arrived to pick up our charges and were treated to a short recital of the music the children had been practising throughout the day, which included Chariots of Fire, not an easy piece to master I would have thought. Well done.
Congratulations to those teachers, especially Chris Mickle, who conducted the combined bands.
What a fantastic job you all do and to see the looks of enjoyment and achievement on the children’s faces, particularly the younger children who participated for the first time, at the completion of the day just shows the level of commitment and rapport you have with the students.
