The Warriors are at the bottom of the seven-team ladder having recorded just one win from their opening seven rounds.
This has them nine points outside the top four with seven rounds remaining in the regular season.
Orange manager Jason Brown said it would be an almost impossible task for his side to reach the semi-finals.
“We pretty much need to win every game and win with bonus points. It’s pushing it,” Brown explained.
“We also sort of need other results to go our way.”
Brown conceded the Warriors are unlikely to make the semi-finals, but that doesn’t mean they can’t have an impact on who will make the top four.
“We’ll try and get a few upsets and stir up the table a bit,” Brown smiled.
“Our guys are still motivated. I don’t think they’ve lost hope in beating teams.”
Orange will travel to Bateau Bay tomorrow to take on the fourth-placed Thunder.
In previous seasons the Thunder have struggled but Brown said the were an improved team this year.
“They’ve been playing well. They even scored an upset win in the last round against Tenpin City,” Brown said.
“We’ve beaten Bateau Bay up there before, so we know we can do it. Lots of our guys like the conditions up there too.”
Brown is unavailable for tomorrow’s round, but Orange will still have plenty of experience in Ron Forbes, Jason Osborne, Ross Southwell, Mark Holle, Ken McLachlan and Nick Flannery.
In the other round eight matches, Tenpin City travels to Gosford and Campbelltown hosts Newcastle, while Shellharbour has the bye.
