Mortimer was given an immediate release from the Sydney Roosters, who he won the 2013 NRL premiership with, and flew to the Gold Coast on Tuesday evening.
The 25-year-old was kept busy at training on Thursday as our gallery shows.
Mortimer joined the Titans, where he's highly likely to earn a regular spot in the NRL team's halves.
He had been playing second fiddle to James Maloney and Mitchell Pearce at the Roosters, and came off the bench in most games in the hooker's role.
The Titans will host St George Illawarra this Sunday in their round 15 clash.
