Road construction and rehabilitation
ORANGE City Council’s crews and contractors have laid the final seal on the 3km rehabilitation work on Cadia Road between Berrilee Road and Forest Road.
The upgrading of 1.8km of Burrendong Way south from the council boundary is continuing with the first section of sealing to be undertaken this week.
Council’s concrete crews began kerb modification for blister islands at the Margaret and Hill Street upgrades.
Further work was undertaken on concrete median islands and pedestrian facilities at the Telopea Way and Farrell Road intersections in preparation for the completion of the traffic signal installation this week.
The City Council’s asphalt contractors have begun further works last week at Byng Street at Clinton Street and McLachlan Street at the Mitchell Highway
Council crews began preparation work for the installation of a shared footpath and cycleway from Spring Street to McLachlan Street.
Contractors will begin pouring concrete this week.
