The Independent Commission Against Corruption has requested several documents from Mid-Western Regional Council on Wednesday after investigators from the independent body met at the Mudgee office.
Mid-Western Regional Council general manager, Warwick Bennett, confirmed investigators were at the council offices on Wednesday.
He said they asked for several documents.
“They [investigators] have come here and asked for some documents. Council is assisting to provide a variety of information,” he said.
The general manager did not say what documents the Commission was seeking.
