POLICE are appealing for information following an armed robbery of a service station at Wellington on Saturday night.

About 8.40pm two men wearing balaclavas entered a service station on Arthur Street and threatened the male attendant with a knife, demanding money.
The attendant complied with the pair’s demands and they were last seen running towards Hawkins Street with cash, cigarettes, cigarette lighters, and tobacco.
Police from Orana Local Area Command attended the service station and established a crime scene.
Detectives would now like to speak to two men who they believe may be able to assist with inquiries.
The first man is described as being aged between 30 and 40 years old, approximately 175cm tall, with a skinny build.
He was last seen wearing a grey jumper, jeans, and a multi-coloured striped beanie.
The second man is described as being aged between 30 and 40 years old and approximately 178cm tall.
He was last seen wearing a grey hooded jumper.
