Orange residents who are Star Wars (and music) fans will have the chance to hear the iconic music from the soundtracks of the Star Wars films at a concert in Cook Park by the City of Orange Brass Band starting at 1pm.
But there are other ways to celebrate too.
Star Wars fans and their pets are able to honour their heroes - their family pet and their favourite Star Wars character - by dressing them in the latest range of Star Wars accessories that have hit the marketplace.
At the Petbarn in Orange, Star Wars paraphernalia is running out the doors - everything from Princess Leia buns on a headband for your cat or dog, to Darth Vader toys and Yoda headbands for pets.
“I don’t know what it is but people are just really into Star Wars for their pets,” manager Cindy Collings said.
“We even took some of the stock from the Bathurst store - it seems there are a lot of Star Wars fans in Orange and they’re all ages from children up.
“Young people are even buying the plush toys to keep themselves.”
